Mortal Follies by Alexis Hall
5.0
• sapphic bridgerton/
Jane Austen with witches, goddesses, fae, and curse breaking
• I loved this so much it was entertaining and cute. Unfortunately the sex scenes were fade to black for the most part so that was annoying.
• it’s a first person narration from a hobgoblin who watched (or dreamt) the story and is talking directly to the reader. I didn’t totally love that narration style but I still preferred it over multiple pov
• I think this a series but the next book is about her cousin and I don’t think I’ll be reading it. I’m glad the two MCs in this story had their happily ever after and it was all wrapped up in one book.
