Everything about this book was absolutely incredible - the plot the characters, the twists and turns… just everything! If you like:
- queer representation
- found family trope (kinda)
- heists
- complicated relationships of all sorts (family, romance, friendship, etc.)
- mutual pining
- reluctant acquaintances to something… more (not quite lovers)
- just good ol’ storytelling
then this is the book for you. PLUS, it’s definitely more new-adult in themes and the literal ages of the characters, but it has very little explicit scenes, which I appreciate and I’ve been hunting high and low for this exactly.
My favorite pairing is Royo and Aeri (thoughthat’s kinda fucked now, YIKES ).
