Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell

There is no plague more feared, more dreaded than the horrible Reading Slump. Yes, even the name strikes terror in the souls of the brave. The worst part is that, while experiencing a reading slump, every book seems bland and boring. At first, that's how it was for this book but then...

It's a bird! It's a plain! NO! IT'S AN AUDIOBOOK!!! *APPLUASE*

I got to listening to this on OverDrive and I listened for six. Hours. Straight. It was a really easy read. I loved the character's. Especially, Cath. She was just so relatable. On a random note, I loved the twilight reference. Also, I enjoyed reading the Simon Snow snippets even though the didn't relate to the story.

Wren and Cath's relationship was great until the got into the fight. But all of Cath's flashbacks showed what a great relationship they had.

Audio Comments: It was probably a 3.5 Audio.

Bottom Line:
4 Stars: A great coming of age read. Perfect in almost every way.
Age Recommendation: 13+ (Swearing, Kissing, Mentions of Sex)
TW: Substance Abuse, Anxiety, Homophobia
