Omega Lost by Evelyn Flood

3.0

I enjoyed the beginning with the dark dystopian world that I remember from the first book, but I did not expect the sudden change to a political battle by the latter half of the book, which was not as interesting to me. The FMC 864/Ava was conflicting personality of stubbornness and trauma, and while I'm glad she got her HEA, everything ended up a little too easily for her and her new pack. For someone who only had previous sexual experiences by rape, Ava was a little too accepting of intimate relations with the men IMO and accepting their bitemarks.

I'm still interested in checking out the last book in the trilogy with the new world where
Spoilerthe Creed has been abolished
, but I think some of my initial interest in the series was based on the concept of cinnabun/sweetverse mates in a dystopian world.
