This is the second book in a really fun duology. I loved returning to Hazel Sinett's world!! She is now working as a doctor (self trained, cause women can't go to school, let alone be a surgeon), caring for the poor of Edinburgh. Unexpectedly, she finds herself in London tending to a sickly Princess Charlotte. The story has secret societies, the drama of the royal court, and the question of immortality.
Pick up this duo if you want gothic historical fiction with a little romance and adventure.
