This is an amazing book that fits into so many categories: Mystery, Thriller, Magical Realism, Family and more.
After the tragic death of her 8-year-old son, Jess Abbot packs up her things and heads for the small mountain town of Pine Lake. There she takes a position as caregiver to Lucy, an eccentric old woman rumored to be clairvoyant. Lucy takes in “lost “ children and help them find their “loose ends”. It all comes together quite nicely at the end of the book.
