I liked this book. I liked how it paid homage to the other Hunger Games books, and I loved the song references.
However, it was hard to root for Cornelius. He was a very morally grey character, and by knowing what happens to him later on, it was hard to feel sympathy or empathy for him.
I found that the last 100 pages were very rushed, and was somewhat what I expected. It does make it easier to see how he becomes Presiden Snow though
3.5 stars because it just didn't seem to have the same magic as the other Hunger Games books.
