I'm the Girl by Courtney Summers

4.0

This was a difficult read and I would never want to read it again.
SpoilerIt goes up along the ranks of My Dark Vanessa. It’s disturbing how the reader can tell almost immediately Who this book is alluding to, describing a very real thing happening to real girls whom we often see as blindingly gullible to the point of frustration. This book raises the question of who we should be frustrated with in the first place because it definitely doesn’t start with the girl.
