There is no one who can get into a mind of a criminal like Lauren. She makes absolutely zero excuses for her characters actions and still the reader has no choice but to fall as hard as the FMC does. No matter how many foods or objects she ruins, I can’t help but love her more and more.
Aurora was a strong woman who everyone hopes they would be when life hands you those kind of lemons but I think what makes me love her the most is how she never shamed Kane for having alters and she never pushed an integrated life. She knew that he and the alters didn’t want that and never even made it a big deal. It honestly made her connection with all three of them beautiful in a rather twisted story.
I truly loved this book and already want to reread it.
