I’ll keep it brief because I don’t want to spoil the first in the series. This is a solid conclusion to the duology. Like with the first book, I absolutely adore Lydia. She’s a strong heroine going through real-life mental health issues. I also enjoyed the overall plotline. However, her love interest, Callum, left a little to be desired. I felt like it was almost a switch that had been flipped, and suddenly they went from being frenemies to falling in love. Honestly, I hit the nail on the head in my review of the first book. One of the most fascinating heroines I’ve read in a long time settled for one of the most boring heroes.
