Linda Goodman's Sun Signs by Linda Goodman

2.0

I read this book in high school as a part of one of my attempts to debunk horoscopes for some of the hardcore believers I knew (who actually hadn't done their research). I actually printed out the sign descriptions and picked a random selection of people both I and those other people knew well, and I underlined everything from each description that could've been said about a certain person to show that your sign didn't necessarily have the description that fit you the best, and that the percentage of the description that fit one person didn't necessarily change a lot across the signs. I wanted to show that horoscopes are written in a way that they can be interpreted to say almost anything depending on what you expect or want it to say. As a sixteen-year-old, I thought I was being clever.

The book was entertainingly written, though.
