One of Us Is Lying by Karen M. McManus

3.0

This book was entertaining. There were some points or sentences that I had issues with every so often. For example, "She's mostly looking at Cooper, though. There's not a female teacher at Bayview who can resist his all-American charm." Which just had me like ??? That's not a normal or okay thing. He is 17 and the teachers are adults. Also, the writing and characterization was all pretty basic. I felt like some of the dialogue was written how a very stereotypical teenager would sound, with a lot of "totally"s and "like"s. The plot twist or truth or whatever you want to call it was pretty good. I guessed it like halfway through the book but again it was a pretty fun book to read.
