I am only a novice graphic novel reader (at best) having only read a dozen titles or so in the past year. Having said that, I am very familiar with Wonder Woman's story from back in the 1970's and forward and I've also read the first volume of this series. I'm enjoying the new story for her and appreciate the "upgrading" of her character, bringing her into the 21st century. The artwork was very well done here and the plot is much better this time around than in the first volume.
I especially enjoyed the interaction with the gods of Mt Olympus and how they all interact with each other, even if it did get a little too "soap-opery" to my taste. It is an intriguing story line and I look forward to future volumes.
