"It’s stunning how little respect you have for me, Naina."

What a lovely surprise that this ended up being my absolute favorite of the series!! Naina's mother made me fully cry at the end of this book. The angst was just right without being too torturous (looking at Yash's book) and I just really loved the girl with sharp edges getting the sunshine guy.

I loved Esha and Sid's journey too.

It's a hot mess, to be clear, both characters are absolutely flawed and everyone wants them to stay away from each other. But for some reason, the opposite, grumpy-sunshine, forbidden, rage-fucking, mistrusting energy created a compelling/entertaining story - even though I wanted to punch a lot of the parents.
