Small Town, Big Magic by Hazel Beck
1.0
What a dive.
The protagonist is a super annoying, self centred, one dimensional character who is also trying to be funny … I think? Rants on and on about not very much…
World building was terrible (if you can call it that) and the “romance” was sort of lumped in as it went along. It was almost like someone wrote this story without thinking what it was going to be about with zero planning.
The plot was fairly cliche albeit mundanely written and there was zero excitement through and through.
The ending did not make me want to read anymore but I did rejoice that it was all over and I can move on.
I do not recommend this. Probably one of the worst books I have ever read.
