Hendrix does not disappoint. Slow start but if you keep going the second half of the book is brilliant, and filled with great commentary on generational trauma and the impact of family secrets. It’s the author’s usual combination of horror, some comedy and great analysis of human behaviour and relations.
Graphic: Body horror and Death of parent
Moderate: Addiction, Alcoholism, Child death, Blood, and Car accident
Minor: Animal death, Mental illness, Vomit, and Murder
