Perfect Little Children by Sophie Hannah
⭐️⭐️⭐️
“If we never make any changes that scare us at first, we end up missing out.”
I don’t know what I expected from Perfect Little Children, but this was not it. I liked the beginning and I liked the end, but I feel like I could have gone without 75 pages in the middle. The story got repetitive. Like yes, the narrator might not be super reliable. I get it. But do we need to keep going back and forth?? Perfect Little Children was hard to get through and took me way longer than it should have. The twist at the end became predictable, but I did enjoy it so I won’t complain about that too much. I feel like there should have been something else to the plot or it should have been shorter. Overall, I was disappointed, but I did like about half of the book.
I recommend this for those who are new to thrillers and want something that isn’t too psychological.
