If you're contemplating breaking up a relationship, in the midst of a separation/divorce, or have a history of dissolutions in your past, this book can help you heal and prevent the cycle from repeating itself.

I'm currently going through a divorce, and despite being the one who requested it, I was having great difficulty with feelings that came up and I was struggling. I read this book, came across a scenario that exactly mirrored my own, and I was able to see his side, for the first time ever. I became aware of how my own behaviors and beliefs had contributed to the breakdown of the marriage. I could also see how these same behaviors and beliefs impacted other areas of my life (parenting, friendships, job). The exercises were tremendously helpful, even working through them on my own. However, if your partner were to collaborate with you, the results would be even more profound. I look forward to taking what I have learned into putting it into practice.
