Overall,
I love Jaymin Eve and I have read pretty much everything she has ever written and will continue to do so. However, this was not my favorite of the Shadow Beast Shifters series. I liked getting to see the Fae world. I found myself skimming portions of the book. I think this is because while I understood the heroine and the reasons she did what she did, I just had a difficult time connecting with her. I loved that we got to see all of our old friends from other books and see what they were up to and watch them interact. The overall plot was in some ways disappointing, it just did not keep me as engaged as other books in the series have.
Recommendation,
I will always recommend this author to people and this series is one of my favorites from her. While Jaymin has said this is the last book in the series she did leave some threads open that could be pulled if she wants to.
