Nuanced perspective on grief and the effects it has on a person, but also the other people in their life. M’s section was perhaps my favorite and the most interesting depiction to be someone raised in a grieving environment, to be caught between who you feel you should be (or are expected to be) and who you are. I really enjoyed the compassion for each character, the different locations over the course of the story, and the way everything unfolded overall. Really unique bizarre horror.
