Frostbite: The Graphic Novel by Richelle Mead

4.0

Once again, the beautiful graphics of this story made me want to read the Vampire Academy series all over again. In this second instalment, we follow Rose, Lissa, Dimitri and the others as they deal with royal families of moroi being killed by strigoi. Enters many new guardians to protect the moroi and with them, Rose's mother.

Reading this graphic novel was like reading the book again. It was so well done that I could see everything in my mind. Of course, some stuff had been merged to keep it short (though who would have minded more of this?), but other than that, it was easy to follow.

And I'll admit, I cried while reading it. Emotions came to me like it did with the book. Who knew that a graphic novel could get to me like that?

Now I'm ready for the next one.
