Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, by Roald Dahl

4.0

Always have loved this story since I was young, so finally reading the book feels so nostalgic!

Enjoyed every bit, seems like I was the same 10-year old then enjoying this.

As a grown up, I have also come to realized and loved how this book also tackles privilege.

Charlie’s life with his family, the way it was described and narrated, was just sad but also a reality for some. So the golden ticket was like their literal ticket to see more of what life can offer.

Been also re-watching the movie adaption of this, just a comfort story of mine! I love and miss being a kid, lol.
