A brilliant second installment! I was unsure how the author would make this different to Pestilence but there was definitely enough to make it a unique and interesting book.Â
I really love this series and although for me it wasn't quite as good as book 1, I still devoured it.
With what is currently happening in the world, I did really struggle at the beginning when War was killing Palestinians, Gaza and Israel. It just hit too close to reality and was tough to read.Â
I am definitely looking forward to the next book although am going to take a little break so I don't just binge the series in a week!
