I liked this book. It was entrancing, colourful and clever.

The first two thirds are kind of meh, since our p.o.v., Felicity is just so insufferable. She struggles with psychosis and magical thinking, to which I can relate, and it was described very nice. The problem is her mental health struggles are her only character trait. She's a mad, hysterical woman and nothing else for most of the novel, and it colours your perception of the whole book.

I didn't like the conclusion of the witchcraft theme - it felt boring and unoriginal, especially for a mystery novel.

Ellis, Ellis. She made the whole book so much better, and is what holds it all together. I loved her very much.  Her mystery was so satisfying, and the reveal made me instantly obsessed. The ending of her arc felt weird and cut-off.

In general the book was entrapping, the prose flowing, and it peaked at the third act, but he ending left me disappointed.
Kinda has to happen, when the most interesting character is killed.
