The Sittaford Mystery, by Agatha Christie

4.0

The Sittaford Mystery is a standalone Christie that felt like it might have been an attempt to launch a new series character - if not a Marple or Poirot, then maybe an Ariadne Oliver or Superintendent Battle. Or even a new Tommy & Tuppence. Had I been around in the 1930s I might have suggested it to her. Of course I'm assuming here that had I been around in the 1930s, I'd have been friends with Agatha Christie. Everyone has their fantasies, is all I can say to that.

And on that note - I have read nothing but AC (on my Kindle, anyway) since last July. I have now officially finished my spree, at least for the moment, and the few I've left unread will remain so. It has been tremendously fun in a way that only other readers can possibly understand.
