Remi is 18 years old and just graduated high school with no intention of attending college, but she is given full tuition to attend Columbia University like her family before her. Before getting there she gets an invitation from The Order of the Scarlet Quill, a society on campus that only invites elite candidates to accept.  She quickly discovers that the society is a secret and they train demon hunters (aka the Scarlets) and her family has been part of this society for a long time. Let the danger begin!

Be patient, this starts slowly to build up this new paranormal world until everything starts happening.  If you are a fan of The Mortal Instruments, you may enjoy this as well.  Warning, there is a cliffhanger!

I was given an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review. As always, I appreciate the opportunity to read an arc before it is released.
