I will try keep this spoiler free but wow all I can say is wow. Never ever has a book broken my expectations from the start. Mari Mancusi gets the story of Agnarr and Iduna more than the frozen writers do especially with showcasing one of the most heartbreaking deleted scenes that should have been in with her character being loved and trusted by her parents.
The only nitpicking I had was that don't get me wrong I loved the povs but I wish we had more Agnarr pov chapters so we could understand even more why his character is the way he is. Plus I loved Alfred Molinas Narrations it would have been nice to break things up a bit but that did not ruin the story for me.

Everything in this story is perfect from the writing of the intense forbidden romance to the powerful character development and writing of both Iduna and Agnarr it truly is their story. From the very beginning to the tragic end. Knowing what the ending will be doesn't make the book any less great. I loved the character psychology and the time skips didn't feel forced or random they were placed well and served the purpose of the story.
All I can say this is perfect for any Frozen Fan who is in love with forbidden romance and the childhood lovers trope. I watched titanic for the first time before I started reading this book, what a big mistake. This book is very similar to titanic and the stakes especially with the forbidden romance will tear your heart out be warned.
Definitely a fab well deserved five star story!
