3.5 stars. A Hidden Fire was better than I expected. There were lots of books, libraries, some history, and plenty of sexual tension between the two main characters. I liked the vampire lore. There were vampires who could control the elements. I thought there was just the right amount of humor and I loved the supporting characters, especially Carwyn and Tensin.
