I was lucky enough to receive a copy of this one for a readalong I participated in, and I am so grateful, as it was a great book.

Milla used to be a snowboarder. She was in competitions and had sponsors and was part of a big group of snowboarders who toured the circuit competing. Sasha was her sometimes friend and sometimes enemy. Sasha disappeared 10 years ago, and that's when Milla stopped snowboarding.

Now Milla has been invited to a reunion in the snowy mountains to have a go at snowboarding once more and reminiscing about the past with her old friends. Only when she gets there she realises that she was invited there by someone other than who she thought and all is not as it seems.

Someone wants to know what happened to Sasha ten years ago and they won't stop tormenting the old friends until they get answers. Lights go out, food is taken away, injuries are sustained... will the mysterious organiser get their answers before someone loses their life?

I loved this. Full of tension and mystery. I guessed quite a lot of the twists and the also the big reveal at the end, but I found it such fun to read along and work it all out.

I learnt a lot about snowboarding and competing whilst reading this one, and also how cruel and competitive these things can make even the most innocent of people. Lots of bad judgement and playing up made this one like watching a car crash - I couldn't take my eyes off it.

Very much recommended to fans of suspenseful thrillers, locked room style mysteries and whodunnits!
