Not sure what I expected when I read the blurb for this book, but goodness not that. The horror elements, alongside a futuristic viral apocalypse really threw me through a loop.
The storyline was fairly easy to follow and generally I enjoyed the writing. I think I mistook the book to be more of a crime thriller, and as such I was not mentally prepared. But the plot was excellent and the characters stories were intriguing, if a little predictable. Regardless, an interesting easy read.
