I really liked this book but i would read it at least in one go up to book 3 and view it as 1 book.

Dual POV.
The heroine is living with her husband who she utterly is devoted to and he as with her as the plague hits.
The other POV is the Hero, who is not her husband.
So SPOILER

I guessed hubby wasn't going to make it.
It is very sad.
I felt the author was either very brave to have the heroine in love with another man, who she obviously will struggle to move on from or shot herself in the foot, as some readers I know will struggle to move on from this.

The writing is great.
The end of the world scenario is chillingly believable, though I did feel the news reports were perhaps a bit too much, I'm not so interested in every detail of the spread.

The other issue some may have is the Hero and heroine don't meet in this book which is why I would recommend reading books 1-3 in one hit.

There is a vague intimate scene with her husband, its not detailed.

Each book ends on a cliffhanger of sorts tbc

The author has hinted this will be an 8 book series, why do I do this to myself as they are not all out yet..
