“Truth over delusion. Growth over comfort.”

i read this in less than 24hrs. anger inducing and emotionally heavy. M.L. Wang is a masterclass in adult fantasy. also reminded me a lot of Fullmetal Alchemist and its law of equivalent exchange.

i couldn’t stop thinking about our world when reading and how entangled imperialism, colonialism and oppression is in everything. how complicit we all are. how many people, knowing the truth, still look the other way and carry on with their lives at the expense and dehumanization of others for their own comfort. it’s how we respond to the truth and the actions we take that really matters.
