Wow! So I read this entire thing in about 2 hours.
I didn't know a single thing about it when I cracked it open, except that there were two stories in it: one in text, and one in illustrations.
As I read, I was searching for the connection between the two stories and it was not as I expected. The story was sad and morose at first, then got a little lighter, and finally it started to get severely darker and more twisted to the point where the ending was abrupt like a super sharp violin in a Hitchcock movie score.
So shiver-inducing and just...wow. If you like creepy stuff, psychological thrillers and ghosts, I would highly recommend this!
