What Happens Now? by Sophia Money-Coutts

What Happens Now? started out pretty good. I liked the main character, Lil, and the British wit (think modern Bridget Jones). I empathized, and related too well, to Lil's situation of online dating after a break up with a long-term partner. I was still happily listening when Lil goes on her first date with Max, that turns into sex at his place. When she wakes up, Max isn't there and continues to ghost her. Then boom, there is a wench in the plan when Max appears on TV and we learn more about him.
At this point I just lost interested in the story. And, so I think, do I pursue this book, or just cut my losses? I turned to the reviewing community. After reading several reviews, , I decided to move on. I still have Money-Coutts' novel [b:The Plus One|38733836|The Plus One|Sophia Money-Coutts|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1530519376l/38733836._SY75_.jpg|60319176] to read...so I am going to try one more time.
