This is a cute short story. I really enjoyed the book 'At Your Service' to which this story is a preface. Does not matter if you read this or the novel first.
It is a very short story almost like a lost chapter to the book. Basically how Mae becomes Major Kitt's Butler. It also gives a hint, where the book did not, that they were attracted to each other from the start. I would highly recommend 'At Your Service,' or any of her books for that matter.
