When the Moon Hatched by Sarah A. Parker

2.0

**Book Review: *When The Moon Hatched* by Sarah A Parker – ★★☆☆☆**

*When The Moon Hatched* has an intriguing premise, with dragons in the sky, an assassin on the run, and a quest for vengeance that ties characters’ fates together. The concept of Raeve, an assassin entangled in political schemes, and Kaan, a heartbroken figure seeking redemption, definitely had potential.

Unfortunately, I really struggled with the writing. At times, it felt confusing and hard to follow, making it difficult to connect with the story or the characters. The plot, while promising, didn’t quite hit the mark for me either – I just didn’t vibe with it as much as I had hoped. There were moments where I could see the spark of something great, but overall, it didn’t come together in a way that kept me engaged.

For readers who enjoy complex, layered fantasies with a twist, this might be worth checking out, but I found it tough to stay invested. Not my cup of tea, unfortunately.
