If You Ask Me (And Of Course You Won't) by Betty White

3.0

This is a slight volume, written with the depth and stream-of-consciousness of a pen-pal letter. Perhaps there was not a lot left to say after her previous five memoirs. Because I have a cold little peachpit of a heart, I can't help thinking the publishers wanted her to write her 'final words,' not realizing she was going to live to 104 (at least). Nonetheless, it's pleasant enough listening, as Betty White is a lovely, intelligent person who has lived an amazing life, and genuinely moving in places as with the audiobook you can actually hear her breath catch with emotion. Now please enjoy some Inception spoilers and some Toto.
