Asking For Trouble by Tessa Bailey

4.0

when i realised it was enemies to lovers i squealed in excitement! it’s been a while since i’ve read a good story in this trope so i was apprehensive going in but Tessa Bailey did not disappoint.

first of all; i didn’t think it was possible for me to like someone more than daniel and then we were introduced to the man that is brent. he is your very typical dominant alpha male that i would never approach in real life but in books - he will be my guilty pleasure.

honestly the way he dirty talked to hayden, i had a hard time not getting excited. sorry tmi.

as for hayden, I love her! while i am in no way living a lifestyle like she is, i could relate to the feeling of wanting to pay back to your parents because you’ve gotten everything you’ve ever wanted by their help.

I would for sure say that i didn’t have high expectations going into reading this series but book 3 and 4 have completely changed my mind. i did not support the hype about the first two but will gladly defend the later two. now for hoping that i didn’t jinx it with the last one.
