Queen of Hearts is book 4 of the Empire of Shattered Crowns series, for those of you not yet familiar with this series, book 1 is titled Queen of Deception. Go get yourself the book right now, you'll adore it! If you want some more information, check out my review by Queen of Deception, Queen of Ashes and Queen of Hope as well. πβ¨
First of all, I missed all of these characters so much and reading this series is such a joy overall. I love every single unique character in this book, as well as the diversity.
So much happened in this book storyline wise and you're able to tell more where things are heading. Laurence has made me laugh so many times, as have Ian and Khaja for that matter, and Thessian and Ronne hehe. I'm very curious to Thessian's mysterious and possibly magical swordπ‘οΈβ¨π. The orphans were such a nice touch, as well as other new characters ! I also keep thinking the dragon might not be evil and just wants to exist.
I absolutely adore the series and keep wondering how it is so good! The angst, the diversity, the plot, schemes, politics, the found family trope and so, so much more! Go get yourself these books! πβ¨
