I have only read Jane Eyre once and it was a long time ago. So I can’t really compare the stories.
But this was a lot of fun. It surpasses PP&Z because Erwin took so many more liberties. I enjoyed reading about a world where these supernatural monsters exist and so do the people that slay them. It was creative and fun.
