Arthur High King of Britain by Michael Morpurgo

4.0

One of my favourite Michael Morpurgo Books of all time. I found this book so interesting due to the fact that I love the whole mythos(lore/backstory) of Arthurian Legends and that I love Michael Morpurgo anyway.
The way it tells the whole story but with a complete newness even though there isn't anything actually new. And the way the typical characters such as Gawain and Lancelot and introduced. The thing that really did it for me however is how it fits in with Morpurgo's classic style of having a sad meaningful ending. I loved it because it all seems so natural at the end and I love how it seems like the whole story is all from his imagination. In spite of this being a children/young adult's book I would recommend this to any lover of Arthurian Legend.
