Man's Search for Meaning by Viktor E. Frankl

informative inspiring medium-paced

5.0

definitely a must read for everyone. the first part specifically provides such a view that is needed to actually understand the foundation of his theory; what is the meaning of life? is it worth living?

no other experience can compare to our own and his recounting of his experience in the concentration camps shed light that finding meaning to one’s life can be achievable in spite of suffering— not to say that is necessary, but it can be found even then.

i really liked his writing, it’s very beautiful and even detachable at times. one part that made me feel so much was when he said he thought of his wife in bad times, and how love and having a why to live, could help bear any how.

really makes you think about how we can change for the better, i’d say this is a highly recommended book.
