Wow, wow, WOW! I'm almost positive that this book dethroned My Best Friend's Exorcism for my most annotated physical copy of any book--Campfire is that spectacular! I'm dumbfounded that this was a debut novel for Sarles. He made me feel every emotion under the sun (or should I say campfire), I could not put this book down! I got hooked on the premise alone, but with every twist and gore-filled moment sales continued to exceed my expectations. He has such an attention-grabbing writing style that has left me searching for any of his other works I can get my hands on. 

This is the perfect "campy-horror" for people looking for a slasher-ific good time. Easily my favorite read this year so far!
