PandoraHearts, Vol. 8 by Jun Mochizuki

3.0

What did we learn? That Alice and the Intention of the Abyss are basically the same. They’re twins who were born in a different dimension, that’s why Alice’s memories are all over the place and the Chains look like her stuffed animals. But, who knows whatever this means…

In the following chapters we see young Vincent talking to Break and then him being threatened by Gilbert, who won’t forgive him if he dares to hurt Oz. At the same time, Echo and Oz casually meet in a festival and they spend the day together.

Overall, I think this has been one of the weakest volumes so far but it still entertaining enough to keep going with the series. Perhaps it’s just the calm before the storm.

This volume contains Retrace 31 – 33.
