A sobering, incredible, important read, what a powerful story. It covers not only a fictional account of the Vietnam War but the aftermath for anyone who was a part of it. For those of us born after the war, the history of everything the veterans faced after heading home will surprise and sadden you. There was no fairytale ending here but the ending was beautiful and hopeful despite all the events preceeding it.
