Update (10/23): originally read this in 2018?2019? I love it more this go around even with the violence on page. It kept me engaged. Ashley's writing & page had gotten better as well. And who does love Ethic?!

This is really a 4.5 because... wow... this was NOT what I was expecting. I have not read the other backstories to Ethic just this one and I am solf. On to the 2nd one IMMEDIATELY.
