The Diary of a Young Girl by Mirjam Pressler, Anne Frank, Otto H. Frank

5.0

I read this for the first time in primary school just weeks before we went on a school trip to the Anne Frank house (and the rest of Amsterdam) and it blew me away. It really touched me, the abrupt ending that is followed by the foreword of the Franks' death really intrigued me into the horrors of World War 2 and it will always be a special book to me.
