When i say that I devoured this book, I absolutely did! I cannot express how much I enjoyed this book. I felt as if I had traveled back in time while reading this. The prose is flowing and easy to follow, with likeable and detestable characters. This book was like a looking glass into history. Anyone who is a fan of contemporary fiction, history or the 1920's should pick this up. This was not a mandatory read when I was in school, but I wish it was!
