I have been WAITING for Ami’s story ever since getting a glimpse of her in The Lasaran and I am not disappointed. She has got to be my favorite heroine in the series. I can’t see myself liking another FMC more!! Also I can’t get enough of the conflicts, world building, and the complexities of the characters. I want to dislike Bastian because he’s an asshole but also…. I can’t!! I’m connected to all the side characters, even the surrendered vampires. I’ve never felt so much camaraderie in a vampire-based series. The romance is gorgeous but one of my favorite things about this series is that there is romance but it’s sooo much more.
