Jennifer's Body by Ming Doyle, Alan Robinson R., Jim Mahfood, Nikki Cook, Rick Spears, Tim Seeley

1.0

I picked this book up at the library on a whim. I was reading a lot of graphic novels at the time and this one looked sufficiently interesting. I found the art style a bit unnvering. It didn't sit plainly in one style, which ruined the feel of the comic a bit. Furthermore, the shifting perspectives of the characters made for a slightly jarring read. The short stories in it - as the book itself is divided into several short stories about boys being devoured by... Jennifer's body - seemed a bit pointless. It wasn't a splatter comic, it wasn't particularly funny, and it wasn't particularly frightening. It just was.

Then I figured out my biggest problem with it. Diablo Cody. I just can't stomach Diablo's writing.

Yep. That's how high schoolers talk.
